00. Preface

As a child growing up abroad, I took little interest in the long tales of our history my father often tried to tell me. Like making an apple pie from scratch, he would reference so many events and characters, that I would get lost.

However, living in Dhaka for nearly two decades now, I began to want to know more about our history and the liberation war. And who better to get it from than my father who reads a lot, has a keen interest in politics, and was a student political activist in 1971.

I asked him to describe the political activities of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and this blog is what I end up with :)
